Baked Ziti And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 c. green pepper slices, cut in 2-inch lengths
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. unsifted flour
2 1/4 c. milk
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 pkg. (8 oz.) cut ziti
1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage
Preparation

Bake sausage for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0; cool.
Slice in thin pieces.
Saute mushrooms, green pepper and onion in butter until tender.
Remove vegetables.
Blend flour into butter; stir in milk.
Cook and stir constantly until mixture begins to boil. Boil and stir 1 minute.
Add 1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, Parmesan or Romano cheese, salt and pepper.
Stir until cheese is melted and mixture is smooth.
Set aside and keep warm.
