Mama'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
2 c. applesauce
3 eggs
4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. cloves and cinnamon
2 tsp. soda, mixed in applesauce
2 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts (black walnuts)

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar. Add applesauce and eggs. Sift all dry ingredients together and mix raisins and nuts. Add to first mixture. Pour into 4 (9-inch) greased and floured pans. Bake at 375\u00b0 until tester comes out clean.
