Cabbage Stir-Fry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    4 c. (1 lb.) coarsely shredded cabbage
    1 or 2 dried hot peppers, crushed (optional)
    1 tsp. freshly grated ginger root
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 Tbsp. broth
    2 tsp. soy sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Heat
    oil in wok or large frying pan.
    Add cabbage and peppers.
    Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes, lowering heat if cabbage begins to brown.
    Stir in ginger root, sugar and salt. Add broth.
    Cover and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until barely tender. Season with soy sauce.
    Serve immediately.
    Makes 4 servings.
