Crabmeat Fondue(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 lb. diced Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. catsup
    1/4 c. sherry
    4 chopped onions (small)
    4 c. crabmeat
    4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt the butter; saute the onions for a few minutes.
    Add the cheese, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, sherry and seasonings.
    Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth.
    Add the prepared crabmeat and blend.
    Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
