Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. salad oil
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Grease a large iron skillet and preheat in 425\u00b0 oven.
    Add mixture and bake about 25 minutes until brown.
