Variety Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. peanuts, halved or chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and sugar until light. Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat well. Add flour; mix well. Spread in ungreased 10 1/2 x 15 1/2-inch jelly roll pan or 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over dough.
    Press lightly into surface. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
