Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 baked (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    In a pan on the stove, cook 1 cup of strawberries, 3/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water for 5 minutes.
    Mix the cornstarch, 1/4 cup of sugar and salt with first mixture.
    Cook until thick. Remove the cooked strawberries and cool.
    Pour mixture over 2 cups fresh strawberries and put into baked pie shell.
