Twisty Pretzels - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. dry yeast
    1 c. white flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. warm water (120~ to 130~)
    1 egg, beaten
    coarse salt
Preparation
    Mix yeast, flours, sugar and salt in bowl.
    Add water and mix until ball can be formed.
    Sprinkle table with about 1 tablespoon flour and rub some on hands.
    Knead until smooth and elastic, 4 to 5 minutes.
    Punch and squeeze until dough feels like a rubber ball.
    Break off walnut-sized pieces.
    Roll each into rods, about 8-inches long.
    Shape into pretzels.
    Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle salt on.
    Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
    Bake pretzels at 450\u00b0 for about 12 minutes or until lightly brown.
