Nut Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. butter (at room temperature)
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. melted butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Blend room temperature cream cheese, butter, and flour; chill one hour.
    Divide into 24 equal parts.
    Shape each part into a small ball.
    Press onto bottom and 1/2-inch up the side of small buttered (2-inch) muffin cups; chill.
