Sausage Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk biscuit mix
    4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 large egg
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. each: pepper, thyme and ground ginger
Preparation
    Cook sausage 6 to 8 minutes; break up and drain fat.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, cheese and cooked sausage with a fork.
    In a small bowl, beat remaining ingredients with another fork.
    Add sausage mixture; blend well. Shape into balls using 1 tablespoon.
    Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Flatten each ball slightly.
    Bake for 20 minutes.
    Can be made ahead and frozen.
