Turnip Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. grated turnips (about 5 large)
    3 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 c. white vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. horseradish
Preparation
    Combine sugar and vinegar, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add mustard seed, horseradish and turnips.
    Stir well.
    Let stand several hours before using.
    Put in Ziploc bags and store in the freezer.
    This keeps well and freezes well.
