Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (No. 2) can kraut
    1 large bell pepper
    celery and onions to taste
    red pimento
    6 carrots or more
    1 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grate carrots.
    Add to kraut with chopped or diced celery, onions, pepper and pimento in a large mixing bowl.
    Heat together the vinegar and sugar.
    Pour over carrot mixture.
    Cover and chill several hours before serving.
    Put in jar with lid and refrigerate until it will keep for several days.
