Tomato Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole stewing chicken
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 sweet pepper, chopped
    salt to taste
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 small (16 oz.) pkg. Velveeta
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can small peas, drained
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    Boil chicken in enough water to cover; remove and debone. Saute onions and pepper in butter.
    Stir in cheese, peas, and tomatoes.
    In a large casserole, combine chicken and tomato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
