Southwest Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. diced onion
    1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 can pinto beans
    1 can mixed vegetables
    1 c. picante sauce
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    salt to taste
Preparation
    In skillet brown ground beef; drain excess fat.
    Place beef and remaining ingredients in a large pot.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
