Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 eggs
    2 or 3 mashed bananas (about 1 1/4 c.)
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar well; add eggs and beat.
    Add flour, soda and salt.
    Add mashed bananas; mix well; add chopped nuts.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes one large loaf.
    (For 2 small loaves, cut baking time to 45 minutes.)
