Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. white Karo
1 c. peanuts
dash of salt
red food coloring (to make real red)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. oleo

Preparation

Combine and cook first 6 ingredients at medium heat until hard ball stage.
Add last 2 ingredients.
Stir until pink.
Pour into greased round cake pan.
Makes one round cake pan size patty.
