Ingredients

1 1/2 c. butter
2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 (15 oz.) can solid pumpkin
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. quick oats
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Beat in pumpkin, egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonfuls 2-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
