Microwave Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. raw peanuts
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup (Karo)
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 or 2 drops red cake coloring
Preparation
    Combine sugar, syrup and water in 2-quart microwave dish. Cook 3 1/2 minutes on full power.
    Take out and add peanuts and continue cooking on full power for 9 minutes longer.
    Take out after 5 minutes and stir.
    Cook the other 4 minutes.
    Take out and add butter, vanilla and coloring.
    Beat hard with a wooden spoon until creamy.
    Pour into mini muffin tins that have been sprayed with Pam.
    (If this hardens too fast, add 2 more tablespoons butter.)
