Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can creamed corn
1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. oil
1/4 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. grated cheese
1/3 c. chopped jalapeno peppers
Preparation

Mix corn, corn meal, milk, oil, soda and salt.
Spread half of mixture into greased 8 x 10-inch baking pan.
Add layer of cheese and layer of peppers.
Spread with half of mixture.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese 5 minutes before done.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Yields 10 servings.
