Veggie Burger - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked drained barley
    1 c. slightly crushed, cooked chickpeas
    1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal (raw)
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 small stalk celery
    1/2 small onion
    1 scallion
    1 clove garlic
Preparation
    Combine the first 7 ingredients in a large bowl.
    In a blender, finely chop the remaining ingredients.
    Add the chopped vegetables to the ingredients in the bowl and mix thoroughly. Shape into patties.
    Melt margarine in a frying
    pan and cook over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
    Yield:
    6 burgers.
