Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced small yellow squash
    2 c. sliced onions
    4 c. bell peppers, chopped
    2 c. distilled vinegar
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine onions and squash in large pan.
    Sprinkle with salt. Set aside 1 hour to drain.
    Combine sugar and vinegar; add celery and mustard seeds and bell peppers.
    Bring to a hard boil while stirring.
    Add drained squash and onions; bring to a light boil. Put in jars and seal.
