Walnut Cheese Spread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. mace
5 to 6 Tbsp. dry sherry
1 c. coarsely grated or chopped walnuts
Preparation

Mix cheese and butter thoroughly.
Stir in spices and sherry. Add walnuts.
Refrigerate, but let warm to room temperature to serve.
Yield:
3 cups.
