Ingredients

3 c. mashed figs
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
3 c. sugar
Preparation

Sterilize jars. Wash, peel and mash figs.
Place figs, gelatin and sugar in large heavy saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Lower heat and boil 5 minutes, stirring often.
Pour in hot jars.
Wipe tops clean.
When cool, cover tops
with paraffin and let set.
Top with lids and rings.
