Beer Kraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. kolbasi
    2 lb. sauerkraut, drained, save juice
    garlic salt and onion
    salt to taste
    1 c. V-8 juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    beer
Preparation
    Place kraut in Dutch oven.
    Add beer to cover.
    Add seasonings and V-8 juice.
    Cover and simmer 1 hour.
    Melt butter in small skillet.
    Stir in flour and brown well.
    Add 1 cup juice from kraut.
    Stir and cook until thickened.
    Stir back into kraut.
    Add kolbasi.
    Simmer covered 1 1/2 to 2 hours more.
