Corn Dog Bites - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2/3 c. cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 pkg. hot dogs
    hot vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine flour, meal and sugar.
    Combine 2 tablespoons oil, egg and milk.
    Stir into flour mixture.
    Cut hot dogs into pieces. Dip in batter and fry in hot oil until brown.
    Serve with mustard or ketchup.
