Microwave Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced cucumbers
    1 onion, sliced
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    In a 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine all ingredients. Microwave covered with plastic wrap on High 8 to 10 minutes, stirring twice, until cucumbers are tender-crisp.
    Ladle into glass jars and refrigerate.
    Makes 2 1/2 cups.
