Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. vanilla caramels
    1 c. milk chocolate chips
    3/4 c. oleo, melted
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Melt caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Set aside.
    Mix cake mix with 3/4 cup melted oleo and 3/4 cup evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of the mixture in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan that has been sprayed with Pam or lightly greased.
    Bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0. Then spread melted caramel mix on cake.
    Then sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on cake.
    Spread remaining cake mix over this and bake 18 to 20 minutes longer at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool before cutting. The remaining cake mix will not cover the caramels and nuts completely.
