Ricky'S Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, crumbled
    1/2 onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    salt and pepper
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    4 cans baked beans
    1 c. shredded cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
    Save most of drippings.
    Saute onion in same pan.
    Add rest of ingredients including bacon and simmer until thick.
    If desired, sprinkle on cheese until melted.
