Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. peanut butter
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
    1/4 c. margarine
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine sugar and milk.
    Bring to a boil and cook to the soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat and add peanut butter, vanilla, nuts and margarine.
    Beat until cool and pour into buttered pan.
    Cool and cut into squares.
