Pecan Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 carrots
    1/4 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Wash and cut carrots into 1/2-inch slices.
    Place in 1 1/2-quart casserole with butter and brown sugar.
    Cover and cook in microwave 10 minutes.
    Mix water and cornstarch until smooth. Stir into carrot mixture.
    Add pecans; cover and continue to cook 6 minutes.
