Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
5 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Blend first 5 ingredients.
Gradually mix in dry ingredients. Roll dough to about 1/4-inch thick and cut cookie shapes.
May be easier to do on lightly floured surface or tea towel.
