Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cocoa
    2 eggs
    3 c. flour
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend first three ingredients.
    Add cocoa.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Add soda, salt and vanilla.
    Alternate flour and buttermilk, starting with flour.
    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
