Redeemer Bread(Yes, Church Of The Redeemer - Houston) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. oil or melted shortening
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. bran cereal
    2 c. boiling water
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    2 eggs
    6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix oil, sugar, salt and bran cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour boiling water over mixture and let cool.
    Soften yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. When bran mixture has cooled to lukewarm, add eggs, softened yeast and flour.
    Mix thoroughly. Turn out on floured board.
    Knead 8 to 10 minutes, drawing in more flour as needed to keep from being sticky.
    Place in greased bowl.
    Cover and let rise until double (1 1/4 hours).
    Punch down.
    Knead 2 minutes and shape into loaves or rolls.
    (Makes 3 loaves.)
    Let rise in greased pans until double (45 minutes). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes for loaves, 12 to 15 minutes for rolls.
