Pain Perdu-French Toast(Creole Cooking) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    6 slices bread
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar and cinnamon. Dip bread into mixture. Fry in hot deep fat in skillet on each side
    until edges begin to brown.
    Remove and drain.
    Serve hot with bacon, ham or sausage, if desired.
