Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    6 slices white bread, crust removed
    1 1/2 c. shredded Longhorn cheese
    softened butter or margarine
    5 eggs
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Cook sausage over medium heat until done, stirring to crumble well; drain sausage on paper towels and set aside.
    Spread each slice of bread with butter; cut into cubes.
    Place bread cubes in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan; sprinkle with sausage and top with cheese.
    Combine remaining ingredients; beat well and pour over mixture in baking pan.
    Chill at least 8 hours; remove from refrigerator.
    Bake 40 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    If put into glass baking dish, check at 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
