Squash Haters Zucchini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium zucchini, shredded like coleslaw
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. boiling water
    3 slices bacon, diced
    3 Tbsp. onion, diced
    2 tsp. flour
    3/4 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Peel zucchini; remove seeds.
    Shred; add to salt and boiling water.
    Boil 3 minutes, stirring often.
    Do not overcook.
    Drain; reserve 1/3 cup liquid.
    Remove from pan.
    Saute bacon until crisp; remove from pan and saute onion in the bacon fat until golden and soft.
    Do not brown.
    Add flour; stir.
    Add reserved squash liquid and bring to a boil.
    Add sour cream; combine squash and sauce.
    Sprinkle bacon over top of squash just before serving.
