Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. bread cubes
    2 qt. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    8 eggs
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Scald milk.
    Separately, beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar, salt and vanilla to eggs.
    Beat.
    Add the scalded milk to the egg and vanilla mixture.
    Grease a 9 x 13-inch pan with some of the butter.
    Place bread and raisins in the pan.
    Then pour the warm milk mixture over the bread.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until a knife comes out clean.
    At 30 minutes into cooking time, stir the mixture lightly, otherwise the bread will sink to the bottom.
