Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. lard or margarine
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Sift flour, salt and sugar; cut in shortening.
    Beat egg; add vinegar and water and sprinkle a little at a time over flour mixture.
    Mix.
    Gather dough together with hands so it cleans the bowl; knead very lightly.
    Chill before rolling.
    Makes enough for 6 crusts.
