Potato-Tomato Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes or enough to fill bowl
    1 large onion
    1 qt. stewed tomatoes
Preparation
    In casserole, layer potatoes and onions in alternate layers until full.
    Pour the stewed tomatoes over top; dot with butter. Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 45 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
