Pickled Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans whole beets
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Drain liquid from beets.
    Place beets in jar.
    Bring to a boil the sugar and vinegar until dissolved.
    Pour over beets.
    Cover and put in the refrigerator.
    Will keep for weeks.
