Salmon With Creme-Fraiche And Herb Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. creme fraiche (sour cream may be substituted if creme fraiche is not available)
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    1 tsp. snipped fresh dill, plus some fronds for garnish
    1 tsp. snipped chives
    1 tsp. chopped fresh tarragon leaves
    1/2 tsp. freshly grated lemon zest
    1/2 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
    Salt and freshly ground black pepper
    4 squares mini-pumpernickel bread (sourdough or rye bread are good substitutes)
    4 oz. smoked salmon, bones removed
Preparation
    For the sauce:
    In a small bowl combine the creme fraiche, herbs, lemon zest and juice, salt and pepper.
