Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1 (7 1/2 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
1 c. crisp rice cereal
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
flaked coconut
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet. Beat eggs and sugar together. Add to butter.
Add dates and stir; cook over low heat 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add rice cereal, nuts and vanilla.
Make into small balls about the size of a quarter and roll in flaked coconut.
