Conch Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground conch
2 lb. diced potatoes
3 medium onions, diced
1 green pepper, diced
4 cloves garlic
8 bay leaves
1 tsp. oregano
1 can whole tomatoes, mashed
1 small can tomato paste
2 qt. hot water
2 Tbsp. barbecue sauce
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 to 1/2 lb. salt pork
1 spoonful vinegar
Preparation

Dice salt pork and fry out.
Add diced garlic, green pepper and onions.
Cook until well done.
Add mashed whole tomatoes, tomato paste, poultry seasoning, oregano, bay leaves, salt, pepper and barbecue sauce.
Cook over low heat.
Bring water to a boil in large saucepan.
Add vinegar and ground conch.
Add other ingredients and cook 2 hours.
Add diced potatoes and cook until tender.
