Zucchini Sweet Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 c. ground squash
    4 1/2 big onions, ground
    1 c. salt
    2 1/4 c. vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    3 large green peppers
    2 large red peppers or 2 large carrots (optional)
Preparation
    Grind squash, onions, peppers and carrots.
    Soak in salt for at least 3 hours or overnight.
    Drain through a sieve and wash through 2 clear waters.
    Drain well.
