Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
    1 c. oil
    1/3 c. orange juice
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cinnamon
    4 eggs
Preparation
    Place first 3 ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Make a hole in the center of the mixture and put in the vanilla, eggs, oil and orange juice.
    Beat until smooth.
    Combine 2/3 cup sugar and 1/3 cup cinnamon and mix.
    If you wish to use more of this mixture than is called for in the recipe, use twice as much additional sugar than cinnamon.
    Grease and flour tube pan.
    Pour 1/3 of the batter into the bottom of the pan.
    Place a layer of apple slices on top and sprinkle with 1/3 of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
    Add 1/3 more of the batter topped with apple layer and 1/3 more of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
    Top with rest of the batter and sprinkle with the rest of cinnamon and sugar.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
