Ingredients

1 pkg. butter cake mix
1 1/2 c. sugar
16 oz. sour cream
12 oz. frozen coconut, thawed
1 1/2 c. frozen, whipped topping, thawed
Preparation

Prepare cake mix according to directions.
Cool and split layers.
Combine sugar, sour cream and coconut; blending well. Reserve 1 cup sour cream mixture.
Spread remainder between layers of cake.
