Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. grated carrots
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. raisins
    1 1/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Boil carrots, sugar, raisins, water, butter, cinnamon and cloves for 5 minutes only.
    Cool thoroughly.
