Individual Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 (6 oz.) pieces boneless beef chuck
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. water
    4 pared and halved carrots
    3 quartered medium onions
    4 quartered medium potatoes
Preparation
    In Dutch oven, brown beef chuck slowly in cooking oil.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add water.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add water, if necessary.
    Add carrots, onions and potatoes to meat.
    Simmer 45 minutes or until tender.
    Serve with skimmed juice.
