Fritos Bandito Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium yellow onion, diced
    2 (15 oz.) cans chili beans
    1 (32 oz.) can chopped tomatoes (do not drain)
    1 clove garlic, diced
    2 (5 oz.) cans tomato paste
    1 pkg. chili mix
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    2 c. Fritos corn chips
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    shredded Cheddar cheese for topping
Preparation
    In large skillet, preheat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
    Brown ground chuck (drain off fat).
    Set aside.
    Now in same skillet, with 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, cook onion and garlic until onion is tender.
