Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk to beat 3 egg yolks in
2 c. milk
1 small can coconut
1 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
1 cooked pie shell
Preparation

Mix flour and sugar together until well blended.
Add 2 cups milk to this mixture.
Add coconut and beat well.
Beat 1/4 cup milk and 3 egg yolks together and add to mixture and heat, adding 1 tablespoon coconut flavoring when mixture has thickened.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Use the egg whites for the meringue and brown in oven.
You may want to sprinkle some coconut on top of meringue before browning.
